I guess you could call it an overstock? A gallery had this work on exhibition and then changed their mind about the stock they wanted for Christmas, so sent it back to me. As I usually make these pieces to order, and don't have room for them in my displays at fairs, I'm happy to sell them at a reduced price, as that's preferable to them sitting in a box in my studio. These aren't seconds and many feature beautiful antique mother of pearl buttons making them one off pieces. If you've been following me for a while you'll know that the button pieces were one of my first collections, sparked by an intricately carved button found in my Mum's button tin.
