Wirral Wire Seed Head Stems 26th April 2026

Sunday 26th March 2026 10.30-4.30pm. Rathbone Studio, Birkenhead, Wirral.

A nature inspired craft workshop where we’ll create mostly 3D wire seed head stems to display in a vase. Inspiration will come from seed heads such as cow parsley, poppies, grasses and more. I'll teach you how to use various guages of wire and different techniques to create your seed heads. You can expect to come away with a bunch of stems to display at home, based on the ideas pictured here. Vases pictured are not included. (Please note that I won't be teaching how to make exactly the same wire flowers that I sell here on my website and at events.)

Refreshments

I'll be providing tea and coffee, plus cake in the afternoon. Please bring your own lunch. We will stop for a break of around 30 minutes at lunch and there is a sandwich shop nearby if you decide to pop out instead.

Where is the workshop?

This craft workshop takes place at Rathbone Studio, 28 Argyle St, Birkenhead CH41 6AE. Please note that the toilets at this venue are downstairs.

Workshop Booking T&Cs

• Your booking is with me, Judith Brown, not the venue itself.
• Workshops include materials and use of equipment. If there is an option to buy extra materials on the day I’ll let you know in advance.
• On this workshop tea or coffee will be provided to drink, with cake in the afternoon. Lunch is not included.
• Payment will be taken at the time of booking. Bookings are non refundable and non transferable. However if the workshop has to be postponed due to Covid 19 restrictions you will be offered an alternative date, the option of a voucher or a refund.
• Please don't attend if you have tested positive for Covid 19. There are no extra safety measures required currently. Should there be any need for extra safety measures, you will be informed before the workshop.
• A minimum of 5 people are required for the workshop to go ahead, if less than 5 people book onto the workshop it will be cancelled with as much notice as possible and you will be refunded in full.
• There will be a maximum of 10 people taking part.
• Under 16s must be accompanied by a participating, paying adult. Please get in touch to discuss the suitability of a workshop for those under 16 before booking. Workshops are aimed at adults but may be suitable for those 13 and over.
• Please note that the toilets at this venue are downstairs.
• Please note that I, Judith Brown, retain the intellectual property to all my ideas. This means that you can’t go into business making copies of my work, run workshops using my ideas or replicate this workshop elsewhere. You can, however, use the ideas to create for your own pleasure or to make gifts for friends and family, and with your own students, if you are a teacher in an educational establishment.
