Wire Leaf Wall Art 12th October 2025

Join me for a nature inspired craft workshop where we’ll take inspiration from real leaves to create your own beautiful wire wall art to hang in your home. Shown here are just a few examples of how you might create a composition from your wire leaf drawings, I will guide you to create your own composition, or you can take inspiration from mine. You can choose from black wire or copper wire to create your leaves.

It’s hard to capture in photos, but this wire wall art is slightly 3D which brings your work to life. Any leaves that you create, but don’t use in your finished piece (or go onto create after the workshop) could be used to embellish greeting cards, be added to mixed media collages or textiles, or with the addition of some ribbon, made into a hanging decoration.

All wire, one 30cm x 30cm square canvas frame, and use of tools is included. I will provide plenty of inspiration, but you are also welcome to bring along your own leaves from your garden too.

You don’t need to have any previous experience of wire work to enjoy this workshop.

This workshop takes place at Spout Brew House, on the first floor, my studio is above this room on the second floor and you’ll be able to visit my studio too.

Gift Option

If you book with this option I will email you a printable voucher (pdf) that you can pop into an envelope and give as a gift, or simply email it on to the recipient. The voucher will have all the information the recipient needs to take part in the workshop. I will also need the recipient's name from you.

Workshop Booking T&C

• Workshops include materials and use of equipment, though you are welcome to bring your own items to personalise what you make. If there is an option to buy extra materials on the day I’ll let you know in advance.
• Full day workshops include homemade cake and hot drinks, jugs of water will also be provided. Please bring your own lunch.
• On half day workshops, homemade cake and hot drinks are included.
• Please advise of any dietary requirements on booking. Food is homemade here by the Spout Brew House kitchen.
• Payment will be taken at the time of booking. Bookings are non refundable and non transferable. However if the workshop has to be postponed due to Covid 19 restrictions you will be offered an alternative date, the option of a voucher or a refund.
• Covid 19 safety measures. All restrictions are now lifted but nearer to the time of the workshop you will be updated on any current measures in place.
• A minimum of 4 people are required for the workshop to go ahead, if less than 4 people book onto the workshop it will be cancelled with as much notice as possible and you will be refunded in full.
• There will be a maximum of 10 people taking part depending on the workshop.
• Under 16s must be accompanied by a participating, paying adult. Please get in touch to discuss the suitability of a workshop for those under 16 before booking. Workshops are aimed at adults but may be suitable for those 13 and over.
• Workshops are usually held on the first floor and unfortunately there is no lift.
• Please note that I, Judith Brown, retain the intellectual property to all my ideas. This means that you can’t go into business making copies of my work, run workshops using my ideas or replicate this workshop elsewhere. You can, however, use the ideas to create for your own pleasure or to make gifts for friends and family, and with your own students, if you are a teacher in an educational establishment.
