This workshop is suitable for anyone, whether you have worked with wire before or not.
Inspired by beautiful summer blooms such as dahlias, create your own necklaces and earrings with coloured wires and glass beads for texture and highlights. I’ll show you a variety of looping, wrapping and stitching techniques to experiment with to create your own wire flowers which you can bring together into finished necklaces and earrings. There’s a wide range of colours to choose from too, plus silver plated or black wire if you prefer something more neutral. Also included is a pair of sterling silver ear hooks, plus clasps, necklace wire and other findings to finish a necklace. If you’d like to finish your piece with a sterling silver chain these will be available to buy on the day from £8, along with more ear hooks etc for you to finish any extra pieces you make.
This workshop takes place at Spout Brew House, on the first floor, my studio is above this room on the second floor and you’ll be able to visit my studio too.
Spout Brew House, 70 St Edward Street, Leek, ST13 5DL
